About

Washington University Libraries are piloting a series of research studios designed for advanced WU graduate students in the Humanities. Participants will explore tools and strategies helpful in various research scenarios, especially those at the dissertation stage. WU faculty will also share their experience and advice. 

A wine and cheese reception will be held for studio participants on August 12th. 

Tuesday, August 12th   

  • 10:00am-NOON Writing & Researching the Dissertation: Blueprint for Success
  • 1:00-2:30pm Managing your stuff in the Humanities with Zotero, Evernote and File and Data Management Skills
  • 2:45-4:00pm Become an Expert Library Researcher
  • 4:00-5:00pm Reception

Wednesday, August 13th  

  •  9:00-10:30am Tap into Archives & Special Collections: Learn the Ins and Outs of Finding and Accessing Archival Materials, Manuscripts, and Rare Books
  • 10:45am-12:30pm Cameras, iPads, and Apps, Oh My: Using Technology for Research & Archival Work
